OpenAI’s banker army: Apparently OpenAI’s been paying ex-Goldman and JPMorgan folks $150 an hour to teach ChatGPT how to do finance. The AIs are learning IPOs, restructurings and how to make a mean Excel model. They call it Project Mercury. I call it “boring.” Maybe one day soon, the interns will finally get to go home before midnight.

Let me tell you something that’ll make you look at your “loyalty perks” apps and programs a lot differently.
You think you’re getting a deal along with points, rewards, a freebie here and there. But what you’re really signing up for is a machine that’s collecting, analyzing and monetizing you.
🖥️ Take screenshots on Windows: The Snipping Tool makes grabbing part of your screen easy. Press Windows key + Shift + S to open it. Make sure the camera icon is selected, then pick a snip style like rectangle, freeform or full screen. Click and drag to capture, and your screenshot will pop up in the bottom right or in your Screenshots folder.
⚡️ 3-second tech genius: Home screen a mess? On Android, long-press a widget or icon and tap Remove. On iPhone, hold the widget, tap Remove Widget > Remove. It won’t delete the app but cleans up space and makes your phone snappier.
Update your NVIDIA drivers: Outdated ones can cause annoying glitches while gaming or streaming. Open the NVIDIA app, go to Drivers in the left menu, select Game Ready Driver, then click Download and Install. You’ll get the latest fixes, performance boosts and new features. Check it often.
Boost your mic volume on Windows: If your mic sounds too quiet, go to Settings > System > Sound > More sound settings. In the pop-up, open the Recording tab, find your mic, right-click and select Properties. Under Levels, set Microphone to 100, then hit Apply and OK. If that doesn’t fix it, unplug the mic, Restart your PC and plug it back in.
Blur your lock screen: Don’t want your full wallpaper showing when your iPhone’s locked? In iOS 26, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Always On Display. Toggle on Show Wallpaper and Blur Wallpaper Photo. Your wallpaper stays sharp when unlocked but blurs on the lock screen for extra privacy.

Android not receiving texts? Check your signal first by looking for bars in the top corner. Then tap and hold the Messages app, select the “i” icon, scroll to Storage and tap Clear cache. Restart your phone. If messages still don’t come through, make a call or text someone else to check that your SIM is active.
📍 Share your location in Google Maps: Let friends or family see where you are in real time. Open the Google Maps app, tap your profile icon in the top right, then go to Location sharing > New share. Choose how long to share (like 2 hours), then pick who to send it to. FYI: You can also select Share via link for others.
