Need a new TV for the big game? These are the best deals

With less than two weeks to go until Super Bowl LIV (Feb. 2), it’s one of the best times of the year to buy 4K TVs. Retailers are marking down sets, knowing many shoppers are looking to upgrade for the big game.
Super Bowl TV deals may even be better than the deals offered on Black Friday. For Black Friday, retailers concentrate on jaw-dropping “doorbuster” pricing and dirt-cheap models to get shoppers in the door and tempt them into other holiday purchases. Tap or click here to see what other times of year offer huge sales.
Those shopping for the Super Bowl TVs are deliberately shopping for high-quality sets that will enhance their viewing experience, so the standards are a bit higher. We’re seeing a lot of the same prices we saw during Black Friday, but retailers are concentrating their deals on bigger screens and higher-end models.
Here’s where to shop for TVs for the Super Bowl this year (prices and availability are subject to change):
Amazon
As is always the case with Amazon, deals change every day. But it’s offering a huge variety of discounts on TVs, home audio equipment and streaming equipment in anticipation of the big game:
- Get up to 47% off Samsung QLED smart TVs with Alexa compatibility. QLED sets deliver a better picture over their basic LED counterparts.
- Get up to 22% off Sony 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TVs.
- Find up to 57% off projectors for a super-sized Super Bowl viewing experience.
- Amazon is offering discounts on its Fire Stick and Fire Stick 4K, which you can use to stream the game (via the Fox Sports App). Currently, you can get the Fire TV Stick 4K bundled with the Echo Dot for $79.98 (about $20 off the cost of these items separately).
- Over the past few days, TVs and projector screens have been featured as Lightning Deals, so be sure to check back regularly.
Best Buy
The electronics giant is offering 50-inch and larger 4K TVs starting at $259.99.
- If getting a low price is the most important factor to you, Best Buy is offering 55-inch TCL 4 Series Smart 4K Roku TV for $279.99. That’s right about where we saw this set price-wise on Black Friday and about $50 off the full cost.
- If you’re looking to make the upgrade to OLED, you can pick up an LG OLED 65-inch B9 Series 4K set for $1,799.99 ($500 off). This is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen on this particular model and closely tracks with the Black Friday price.
Costco
If you’re a Costco member, consider shopping the big game Savings TV sale, which runs until Feb. 2. Some sets have already sold out. If you’re looking for huge screens (65 inches and up) and OLED, this is the sale to shop.

5 must-buy massagers to soothe your aches and pains

There’s at least one element that’s common to almost everybody’s idea of a dream vacation: A nice, long massage. Small wonder. There’s nothing that relieves tension as quickly or completely as a good rubdown, and it’s just as beneficial for your body as it is for your mind, if not more-so.
Make your teeth shine with this ultrasonic toothbrush

If you haven’t purchased a toothbrush in a while, you’re about to have some regrets. Dental hygiene kits for the home have gotten much more effective over the past few years, and at the forefront of this new technology are toothbrushes, as you might expect.
This pint-sized smart printer is the future of sticky notes

No matter how much technology streamlines the world, some things will never change around the workplace. Mondays will always be the worst. There will always be an office football pool. And no matter how many alerts we set on our gadgets, sticky notes will always be the best reminders.
Having trouble sleeping? Try this weighted blanket

Who knows why a hug works wonders? Most likely it’s an instinct that goes back to infancy, or perhaps even the womb. All we know is that research has shown a little embrace now and then can yield health benefits across the board.
Luxury noise-canceling headphones at a fraction of the price

Audiophiles can argue (and have argued) for years about what sound system is best. As technology has improved, those arguments have only gotten more heated.
Digital audio is the norm these days, and as convenient as it is, it comes with its own set of reproduction challenges — just like the CDs, cassette tapes and vinyl formats before them.
4 sleep masks that do more than just keep you in the dark

For too may of us, a good night’s sleep is not a given. One solution to restless nights is a sleep mask to block out ambient light. It’s certainly better on your system than sleeping pills or other medication, but let’s face it: Sometimes a simple blindfold just won’t do the trick.
Never lose a charge again with this versatile power bank

Charging your smartphone or other devices is simple. We don’t even think about plugging into one of the many outlets available pretty much everywhere. And wireless charging has made it even easier to top off your battery.
This wireless sleep mask even sings you lullabies

Sleep comes easier to some of us more than others, but it’s equally important for everyone.
If you’re struggling to get the rest you need, sleep masks can help; but blocking out a little light only helps settle down one of your senses. For a more full-spectrum approach, we found a better solution: The Dreamlight Muse.
So long, jingle: This organizer keeps your keys fumble-free

Keychains are one of those daily hassles that become so constant we barely think about it. When you actually do stop to consider, it becomes obvious the way we carry our keys is a mess.
They make noise, they jab us in the thigh and good luck finding just the right one quickly — especially in the dark. Luckily, somebody’s thought about the problem. And the solution is elegant and somewhat familiar: The KeySmart Flex.
This tasking tool isn't a day planner – It's a life planner
Every day, there’s a new gadget or a supposedly better version of an old one. We’re surrounded by widgets and programs promising to make it easier for us to commute, communicate, clean and more.
But technology hasn’t really answered the big-picture question: With all these time-saving devices around, why are we still so busy?

Is note-taking becoming tiresome? Try this virtual assistant

Ask any student: The worst part of any project is the notes. The endless pages of notes. Sometimes it’s a whole separate job just making sense of and — transcribing — the scribbles you wrote a few hours ago.
That’s true whether you’re talking about a thesis paper or a research-heavy work project. But as they say, you’ve got to work smarter, not harder.
