When is a deal a deal? Sometimes, we come across an unusually marked down item that’s simply too good to be true. But you know how the saying goes – most of the time, that’s because it is. Have you ever heard of the “White Van Speaker Scam”? It’s one of the oldest scams in the world where a sly salesman tries to sell you what appears to be “the best deal in home theater history.” Well, check again, it might just be “the best scam in home theater history,” if you fall for it.
To say Amazon is a successful company would be quite the understatement. It has grown far beyond its humble beginnings as an online book store and is now the go-to place for pretty much all shopping needs.
The company also owns Whole Foods and has its hands in so many other areas. For many, the idea of not having Amazon in their lives is not something they want to think about, which goes to show just how big of a brand it is.
We love our phones, Android and otherwise, so it’s inevitable we push the batteries to their limits. Especially in moments when we’re lost, so we’re looking at a GPS app while texting a friend, and also playing soothing music to help keep ourselves together, while forgetting to close Twitter. Maybe that’s more of a personal experience, but still, phone batteries need to be reliable so our phones can be reliable too.
