Ferrari finally built an EV, which is an awkward pivot for a brand whose love language is “wake the neighbors.”
The new Luce packs four motors, over 1,000 horsepower, a 122-kWh battery, about 329 miles of range and a price around $640,000. It even uses motor vibrations to make vroooom fans feel emotionally supported.
People aren’t charmed, comparing it to an Apple Store minivan (Jony Ive did help design it). Ferrari stock dropped on the news. As a Ferrari owner, I hate it.
