Vacations are great. Packing for them is, well, less great. Yet, it is a necessity for any actual trip we are going on, and as such, it is something we really don't want to mess up.
Sure we've all needed to buy a toothbrush, new shirt or something else we've forgotten once we reached our destination, but realizing we left without something important is not an enjoyable thing to have happen. But the struggle is real, especially when having to decide what, exactly, to fit into our luggage.
The good news is through the magic of technology, we can be told exactly what is necessary for our trips. With a single app, packing for any kind of trip is as easy as a couple of taps on a phone.
It takes care of everything
The app is called PackPoint, and it is something every traveler should have on their device. Available for free on both iOS and Android, it is simple to use and incredibly helpful.
All you need to do is enter in your destination, along with the date of travel, length of stay and whether or not you plan on doing laundry while away. You select boxes for what kind of activities you plan on taking part in, and the app takes over from there.
Depending on your plans, it will suggest certain clothes, or maybe headphones and your laptop power cord.
You can be pretty specific
The app comes with pre-determined activities, most of which are likely for any trip. There is an option to purchase the Pro version of the app for $2.99, and with it you will have the option to add personalized activities.
Even without having to pay, odds are the free version of the app will cover pretty much all of your packing needs.
After PackPoint helps create your packing list, you can then check each item off within the app to make sure nothing is forgotten. If you decide something on the pre-determined list is not necessary, you can just swipe it away in order to create your perfect packing plan.
Once it is all complete, you will then be able to share your list on its site or over email, text or any messaging apps.
