Find all the people you've blocked on social media
The ability to block people on social media is there for good reason: To keep away creeps and harassers. But your “Block” button’s also good for exes, oversharers and nosy family members.
Ever want to see who you’ve blocked over time? I pulled together steps to do just that on every major social platform. Check your list of people you’ve blocked. Maybe it was a mistake or misunderstanding.
Hot tip: Hot corners on Mac are neat. Hover your mouse over a certain spot to make something happen, like showing your desktop or opening a note. Hit the Apple logo > System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Hot Corners. Set as you please, then hit Done.
Do it in style: Easily change your text formatting by holding down Ctrl + B for bold, Ctrl + I for italics and Ctrl + U for underlining. Pro level: Hit Shift + X for strikethrough text, Shift + . (period) to superscript something and Shift + , (comma) for subscripting.
Hear the world: If you ever ask anyone to repeat something they said, check out the new, dual-processor, almost-invisible hearing aids from Hear.com. The company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, a 4.9 out of 5 rating with Consumer Affairs and a 100% money-back guarantee. Let’s make your Friday more fun: Turn on my yacht rock playlist (so many good songs! You’re welcome) and stop by my YouTube channel today at 11:30 a.m. Pacific (2:30 p.m. Eastern) to catch the live action. We have a blast.
This is so sweet: Hover over a link and click on your mouse wheel to open it in a new tab. You can also middle-click the mouse on an open tab to close it. Share that tip to impress your friends.
Snappy: Drag a window to the left or right edge to snap it in place on Windows. Shake a window to minimize all others you have open. On a Mac, hold the option key, hover over the green “expand” button at the top of a window, and snap it to one side.
🎨 Give the kids (and yourself) some culture: Bank of America customers get free admission to museums nationwide for the first weekend of every month. Perfect for summer vacation!
🔊 PC audio hack: You can control the volume of individual apps on Windows. Right-click on the Volume icon on your taskbar and select Open Volume mixer. Move the volume slider up and down for each app. Voila, that’s it.
