๐Ÿ”‘ Silence of the fobs

Your car key is basically yelling โ€œcome get meโ€ if you leave it by your door.

A recent Mark Rober stunt showed how thieves use relay attacks to trick keyless cars into thinking the fob is nearby, even when itโ€™s inside your house. One person stands by the door with a signal booster, the other waits by the car, and suddenly, your push-to-start sedan is auditioning for Fast & Furious: Suburbia.

The fix? A Faraday pouch, metal tin or even foil can block the signal.

You gotta watch the whole thing, they even catch a live car thief.
