Your car key is basically yelling โcome get meโ if you leave it by your door.
A recent Mark Rober stunt showed how thieves use relay attacks to trick keyless cars into thinking the fob is nearby, even when itโs inside your house. One person stands by the door with a signal booster, the other waits by the car, and suddenly, your push-to-start sedan is auditioning for Fast & Furious: Suburbia.
The fix? A Faraday pouch, metal tin or even foil can block the signal.
You gotta watch the whole thing, they even catch a live car thief.
