Distracted driving is one of the leading causes for accidents across the country, and now touch screens are to blame.
What would you do? A San Jose woman got buried in hundreds and hundreds of Amazon packages. Think faux leather cheap car seat covers she never ordered from a seller in China. Turns out, shady return scammers were dumping rejected goods on her doorstep. Amazon’s response? A $100 gift card and radio silence … until the news shamed them into action.

🚨 Check your Anker Power Banks: Over 1.1 million 535 Power Bank (PowerCore 20K) units are on the recall list after reports of overheating, fires and property damage. These were sold between 2022 and 2024 on Amazon, eBay and Anker’s site. More details here.
🔥 Baseus charger recall: Over 55,000 portable chargers are being recalled after reports of them catching fire. Look for model BS-30KP365 with a serial number ending in 0 to 9 or D (check the bottom). If that’s you, get a free replacement on their website.
Ford recall: Over 1 million vehicles are being recalled due to glitchy rearview cameras freezing up or going blank. It affects several models made between 2021 and 2024 (full list here). You’ll get a fix with an over-the-air update or by visiting your local dealer.

The number of Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators recalled over brake issues. Apparently, Ford’s version of stopping power is just hoping real hard. The recall affects 2022–2024 models with front brake lines that might leak, reducing function. If your brake pedal suddenly feels like a soft pillow, maybe don’t test your luck.
🚨 Urgent recall: Ditch this Igloo cooler if you value your fingertips. Over 130,000 just got recalled after causing 78 injuries, including 26 with fractures or even amputations. The handle can pinch hard when you push it against the cooler. Over a million are now affected, so check here if you own one.

Still have a DVD collection? Check for disc rot. Many Warner Bros. DVDs from 2006 to 2008 are failing prematurely, even though properly cared-for discs should last up to 100 years.
