Drone swarms are terrifying until somebody shows up with a microwave that went to military school.

Epirus’ Leonidas system was used against 61 drones, and the company says every single one went down. The grand finale was a 49-drone swarm made up of two types, which Leonidas defeated with one instant pulse of high-energy interference.

This giant electromagnetic flyswatter can steer its beam between groups, hit multiple drones at once or selectively target one while leaving another flying nearby untouched.
