OFFICIAL RULES & TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor: Kim’s Cash Grab Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by WestStar Multimedia Entertainment, Inc. (“WME”), 6135 North 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014.
Amazon.com, Inc. is not a sponsor of this Giveaway and does not endorse or administer it.
2. Eligibility: Entrant must be a natural person who is a legal resident of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and at least eighteen (18) years of age. If Entrant is a minor, as defined by the jurisdiction of Entrant’s primary residence, Entrant’s parent or legal guardian must grant permission for Entrant to participate in the Giveaway. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Product purchases, acceptance of product offers or other interactions with WME will not increase Entrant’s chance of winning. See below for more details regarding eligibility restrictions. The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Executives, officers and employees of WME or of radio stations carrying The Kim Komando Show, Daily Tech Update, Digital Life Hack and other vendors or independent contractors of WME, persons working on the Giveaway at any level in any capacity or working for WME or any outside companies or agencies involved in the Giveaway, previous confirmed Winners of any WME giveaway within the past thirty (30) days and immediate family members of anyone who falls into any of the foregoing categories are not eligible. Immediate family is defined as spouse, children and parents.
3. Timing: The Giveaway begins at 12:00:01 AM United States Mountain Standard Time (“MST”) on January 30, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 PM MST on February 28, 2026 (“Entry Period”).
All entries must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will be disqualified. WME’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway. All times referenced are MST unless otherwise noted.
4. How to Enter: No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase chances of winning. There are two (2) ways to enter:
4a. Method 1 – Newsletter Subscription: All active subscribers to the free WME newsletter titled The Current (the “Newsletter”) as of any date during the Entry Period will automatically be entered into remaining drawings during the Entry Period, subject to eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
Individuals may subscribe to the Newsletter for free at https://www.GetKim.com to be entered via this method.
An active subscriber is defined as a person who is subscribed to and receives the Newsletter from WME. Unsubscribing from the Newsletter or otherwise losing active subscriber status (including by blocking receipt of the Newsletter by marking it as spam) will disqualify Entrant from remaining drawings. However, Entrant may regain eligibility by resubscribing to the Newsletter and regaining active subscriber status; such Entrant will then be eligible for subsequent drawings.
4b. Method 2 – Email Entry: An individual who is not an active subscriber to the Newsletter and does not wish to subscribe to the Newsletter may enter the Giveaway by sending an email to Giveaway@komando.com. The email must include: Entrant’s first and last name, Entrant’s telephone number, and a statement affirming Entrant’s desire to be entered into the Giveaway. To be entered into the Giveaway, Entrant must insert “Kim’s Cash Grab Giveaway” in the email subject line.
Such Entrant will be entered into remaining drawings during the Entry Period, subject to eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
4c. Entry Limits: Regardless of entry method used, there is a limit of one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period. Multiple entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means, and entries by any means that subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of WME and will not be acknowledged or returned.Â
Entrants must meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules to qualify. If, for any reason, a selected Entrant is determined to be ineligible, declines to accept the prize or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the Entrant will forfeit eligibility to receive any prize associated with the Giveaway.
5. Prize Description: A total of twenty-eight (28) Prizes will be awarded, consisting of Amazon.com Gift Cards valued at Two Hundred Fifty and 00/100ths U.S. Dollars ($250.00) each. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Prize: $250.00. Total ARV of all Prizes: $7,000.00.
Amazon.com Gift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer. Amazon.com, Inc. is not a sponsor of this Giveaway and does not endorse or administer it.
There is a limit of one (1) Prize per household within a thirty-day (30) period.
Each Prize is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash and may not be substituted, except at the sole discretion of WME, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the advertised Prize becomes unavailable.
Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance, as described in Section 14, Taxes.
Odds of winning each Prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
6. Selection of Winner(s): Twenty-eight (28) random drawings will be conducted to select a potential Prize winner (“Potential Winner”) to notify each day from February 1, 2026, through February 28, 2026, (the “Notification Period”), as described in Section 7, Notification of Potential Winner(s).
WME will conduct a random drawing corresponding to each day in the Notification Period on the prior business day from among all eligible entries received as described in Section 4, How to Enter, and select one (1) entry per drawing as a Potential Winner. All random drawings will be conducted as near as practicable to the start of the business day. A business day is defined as a weekday from 8:00:01 AM MST to 4:59:59 PM MST, excluding United States federal holidays, when WME’s office is closed. (During the Giveaway, WME’s office will be closed Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of President’s Day.)
The decisions of WME and the judging officials regarding the administration of the Giveaway and the selection of Potential Winners are final and binding in all respects.
Odds of winning each drawing will depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
7. Notification of Potential Winner(s): One (1) Potential Winner will be notified each day during the Notification Period via the Newsletter. After a Potential Winner is selected as described in Section 6, Selection of Winner(s), a notice will appear in the Newsletter indicating that the subscriber has won. To claim the Prize, the Potential Winner must follow the instructions provided in the notice within thirty (30) days of the date of the notice. Failure to claim the Prize within thirty (30) days will result in forfeiture of the Prize, and WME reserves the right to select an alternate Potential Winner or not award the Prize at its discretion.
After a Prize is claimed by a Potential Winner, unless otherwise stated herein or prohibited by law, a WME team member will contact the Potential Winner by telephone or email using the contact information provided at the time of the claim. If the Potential Winner fails to answer any prize-notification call, is unavailable, disqualified or otherwise determined to be ineligible; declines to accept the Prize for any reason; if a prize notification is returned as undeliverable; or if the Potential Winner fails to comply with the Winner’s Obligations in Section 8, the Potential Winner forfeits the Prize. WME is not responsible for suspended or discontinued Internet or telephone service that may affect notification or the ability of the Potential Winner to respond. At WME’s sole discretion, it may, but is not required to, select an alternate Potential Winner from the remaining eligible entries received.
8. Winner’s Obligations: Each Potential Winner must execute and return to WME a Winner Acceptance & Release Agreement and any applicable IRS forms required by law prior to receiving a Prize. If a Potential Winner is under the legal age of majority in his or her jurisdiction, that individual must also provide a written parental or legal guardian consent and release before receipt, payment, and/or distribution of the Prize.
The Potential Winner must satisfy all required documentation and verification obligations within seven (7) business days of WME’s first attempt to contact the Potential Winner following a claim. In addition, each Potential Winner may be required to be available for on-air or recorded participation as described in Section 9, Publicity.
Failure or refusal to complete, sign and return all required documentation within the specified timeframe, or failure to comply with these Official Rules in any way, will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. In such cases, WME may, but is not required to, select an alternate Potential Winner from the remaining eligible entries.
9. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Giveaway constitutes permission for WME to use each Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements, and city and state of residence for advertising and promotional purposes worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
WME may, at its discretion, announce the name and city and state of residence of a confirmed Winner in the Newsletter and/or on The Kim Komando Show (the “Show”). Unless prohibited by law, WME also may require a Potential Winner to be available by telephone or in person on the Show as part of the announcement of the Winner’s name. All decisions of WME regarding prize notification, verification, and award are final and binding in all respects.
10. Winner(s) Announcement: Winners will be announced on or before April 15, 2026. To obtain a list of the names of the Winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: WestStar Multimedia Entertainment, Inc., Attn: Kim’s Cash Grab Giveaway Winners List, 6135 North 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014. Requests must be received by April 30, 2026.
11. Cumulative Prize: The total cumulative value of all Prizes available in the Giveaway is Seven Thousand and 00/100ths U.S. Dollars ($7,000.00).
12. Incomplete or Multiple Entries: Multiple automated entries, entries submitted by others on Entrant’s behalf or entries submitted by Entrant using different identities or addresses will be considered fraudulent, rendering Entrant ineligible for the Prize. Incomplete entries will not be eligible to win.
13. Entries Not Received: WME is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Neither product purchases nor email or mobile opt-ins will increase Entrant’s chances of winning.
14. Taxes: All taxes, including but not limited to federal, state, municipal and local taxes associated with the acceptance or use of any Prize and all other expenses not specified herein, are the sole responsibility of the Winner. WME is not responsible for any tax implications of the acceptance of the Prize and makes no representations regarding the tax implications of accepting the Prize. Pursuant to IRS Circular 230, neither these Official Rules nor any other communication regarding the Giveaway is for the purpose of helping an Entrant or Winner avoid any penalties that may be imposed by federal tax law, and no affected taxpayer may use the Giveaway or its Official Rules in that manner. Winners may receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the retail value of the prize received. Prizes valued under Six Hundred and 00/100ths U.S. Dollars ($600.00) typically do not require IRS Form 1099-MISC reporting, but Winner remains responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes.
15. Entrant’s Agreement: By entering the Giveaway, Entrant agrees to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions WME makes regarding the Giveaway, which decisions are final and binding on all matters. Any person refusing to agree with these terms shall not enter the Giveaway and is ineligible to win. Also, except where prohibited by law, by entering the Giveaway, an Entrant who becomes the Winner of a Prize grants WME the right to use and publish his or her name, likeness and city and state of residence without WME being obligated to pay or give Entrant any compensation for such use and publication, which may be made online, in print, via email and via any other media in connection with the Giveaway, but not as an endorsement of any business or service.
16. Entrant’s Release: Entrant agrees that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Giveaway or any Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be resolved exclusively in accord with the provisions set forth in Section 18, Jurisdiction and Venue, (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering, but in no event attorney’s fees, and (c) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages increased or multiplied. SOME JURISDICTIONS PROHIBIT EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO PORTIONS OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY. All issues or questions concerning validity, construction, interpretation, or enforceability of these Official Rules, Entrant’s rights or obligations, or the rights or obligations of WME, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to any choice of law rules.
17. Termination of Giveaway: WME reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify anyone who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process of the operation of the Giveaway. In addition, WME reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Giveaway if the Giveaway is compromised or otherwise impaired in any way, including typographical or administrative error, or if anything required for conducting the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, including but not limited to Acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, weather, fire, strike, acts of war or terrorism, government restriction, or any other condition beyond their control, which may corrupt or affect its administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct or play, In any of the foregoing circumstances, WME may terminate the Giveaway at any time before, during, or after the Entry Period, at its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, termination, or suspension, WME will post a notice on https://www.komando.com. At its sole discretion, WME also may choose to select the Potential Winner(s) from among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period prior to termination.
Any attempt to damage any online service or website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, WME reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
18. Jurisdiction and Venue: The Giveaway shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Arizona, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules, whether of the state of Arizona or any other jurisdiction, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of Arizona. Void wherever prohibited for any reason. All disputes resulting in legal action shall be resolved in the appropriate court in Maricopa County, Arizona. Should WME find it necessary to seek legal assistance to enforce its rights, its damages, if any, shall include its reasonable legal expenses and fees, including reasonable attorney fees.
19. Limitations on Liability: By entering, Entrant agrees that WME and its subsidiaries and affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever, and Entrants shall release and hold Released Parties harmless for any injuries, claims, losses, or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any Prize or participation in this Giveaway or participation in any Giveaway-related activity, or Entrant’s failure to comply with the Official Rules. The Released Parties shall not be liable to any Winner, Potential Winner, or any other person for failure to supply any Prize(s) or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, epidemic, pandemic, or any other cause beyond the Released Parties’ control. The Released Parties are not responsible for illegible, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, or stolen entries or for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Giveaway, including but not limited to errors in advertising, Official Rules, selection and announcement of the Winners, distribution of Prizes, or for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website or other connections, availability or accessibility, or for miscommunications, failed computer, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, or for any other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, technical, or network, or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information, or for any misdirection or delay of any email to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, WME’s website, WME’s application, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading or uploading any materials in connection with the Giveaway, or for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway, or for any personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of receipt or use or misuse of any Prize produced and/or manufactured by a Prize. Without limiting the foregoing, everything regarding this Giveaway, including the Prizes, is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
20. Alternate Method of Entry: An eligible individual who is not an active subscriber to the Newsletter and does not wish to subscribe to the Newsletter may enter the Giveaway by sending an email as described in Section 4b, Method 2 – Email Entry. Limit of one (1) entry per person regardless of entry method used.
21. Privacy: Any personal information submitted in the Giveaway is for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and providing experiences, products, services and communications, including but not limited to the Newsletter, as described in WME’s Privacy Policy found at https://www.komando.com. Information collected from Entrants is subject to WME’s Privacy Policy.
22. Rights Claimed: All rights to this Giveaway, WME’s trademarks and trade names are owned by WME and its affiliates, and are reserved.
