You have to see these robots dance to a classic hit

Boston Dynamics had the public in awe a few years ago with the creation of various robots — especially its robotic dog Spot.

Lacking a discernible head or tail and painted bright yellow, it didn’t exactly look like a dog. But Spot’s movement and reactions were unnervingly accurate to a live animal. Tap or click here to see the adorable creature in action.

You have tons of options when it comes to email services. It can be tough to narrow down which one works best for you — especially since they all offer different features.

Gmail has been the go-to for many thanks to an easy-to-navigate interface and simple chat feature. But while Gmail may be one of the top email choices, Google is notorious for collecting tons of user data. This massive tech company tracks almost everything users do, search for or use.

Saying goodbye to the year that wasn't - A New Year's message from Kim

I’ll not start by talking about how 2020 was not the roaring 20s we all hoped. We know it. We lived it. The past year was a dumpster fire on so many levels.

On the upside, I got to spend real quality time with my family. I went on walks with Ian, who has been Zooming his college classes. I had time to just sit and talk with my Mom. I also realized parts of my life that needed a change. I made time for myself every day. I cooked new recipes, and wow, I can make sourdough bread like a master! Last night, I beat Barry at chess. I just picked up the game a few months ago! And my faith in God grew stronger.

Worried about hacking? You should be. Any device that connects to W-iFi, including smartphones, computers, tablets or any other smart tech, is susceptible to being compromised by cybercriminals.

Reader question: 'How do I display photos on my TV?'

A recent caller to The Komando Show had a great question. They were having issues with displaying photos on their TV and were looking for an app or device that would help.

Here’s what they wrote: “I have thousands (approx 8,000) photos scanned and saved and I plan to add more. Is there a device or app that can turn my TV screen into a digital photo album to scroll through all those photos like a digital frame would do? I have used a jump drive, but it doesn’t scroll through all the pictures on the jump drive and they are very small on the TV.”

Safety alert: Home Depot ceiling fans recalled after reports that blades flew off

If you pay close attention, you already know that products get recalled by government watchdog agencies all the time. Some recalls are pretty minor and others could cause serious injury if not addressed immediately.

A recent example of the latter came from a smartphone charger that poses a dangerous fire hazard. If you have one of these chargers, you should take action ASAP. Tap or click here to find out which models were recalled and what to do next.

Your car is watching: Here's what your vehicle knows about you

We all know how much data our smartphones collect. The apps alone are data collection machines, and so is the search engine you use. Tap or click here to see which apps grab the most personal data from you.

Other smart devices similarly handle data collection. That smart speaker you’re using to control your robovac and smart thermostat is a culprit, and so is that smartwatch you’re wearing. If the device uses apps or “smart” features, it collects data.
