If you’re worried about privacy when it comes to owning smart speakers, you should be. It turns out Amazon’s Alexa doesn’t completely let go of all of your conversations and transcripts. When people learned Amazon kept transcripts of randomly selected conversations heard by Alexa, people freaked out. The company said there was a quick fix to these privacy concerns but it’s more complicated than that.
Apple has started a voluntary recall involving batteries in certain MacBook Pro models that could overheat and pose a fire risk. If your battery is included, Apple is offering a free battery replacement. Since the initial recall, there have been reports of injuries and property damage.
