WestStar MultiMedia Entertainment, Inc. is proud to be one of America’s most trusted sources for tech advice. We’re looking for an experienced writer well-versed in tech to assist us to create webinar and virtual education content.
Project Overview:
- Write content for an 8-hour course based on an outline provided by the content team.
- Review the assigned outline and create a cohesive script and all associated documents.
- Edit and revise the script to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Incorporate persuasive elements and interactive techniques to encourage engagement, including quizzes and video elements.
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong storytelling abilities
- Proficiency in adapting content for webinar and course formats (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with webinar scripts, webinars, or Learning Management Systems (strongly preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Responsive, consistent, and effective communicator
- A self-starter who is willing to take initiative and complete tasks
- Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule to make deadlines
- Google Workspace experience preferred
This position is remote. Applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and are expected to maintain a high level of communication.
Responsibilities:
- Understand key audiences and create copy to drive engagement regarding WestStar Media’s webinar and course content.
- Effectively communicate with other WestStar Media team members remotely.
- Compensation: $0.25/word after project completion. Rate includes two rounds of revisions.
This is a short-term project with the opportunity to work on additional projects as needed.
