In this position, you are seeking opportunities to present to clients something that they simply cannot purchase anywhere else. It is a 92% footprint across the USA in network radio combined with content marketing, email marketing, display ads and on select occasions, Kim Komando’s personal endorsement.
The Kim Komando Show is the nation’s largest talk-radio show about everything digital. It broadcasts every weekend on more than 500+ radio stations in the U.S. and internationally on the American Forces Radio Network. Kim’s weekly column appears nationally in USA Today, FoxNews and in more than 100 daily newspapers. We send more than 12 million newsletters each week. We also produce books, consumer buying guides, podcasts and videos.
Outstanding success in broadcast and digital media sales is required. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial company with individual responsibility for driving sales and growing our advertiser base. The sales executive will work with advertising or multi-service agencies, acting as a link between us and the agency.
There is no other national network broadcast and digital sales opportunity like this in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This is an inside sales position. Relocation expenses are not offered with this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell digital advertisements for our Newsletter to national advertisers and agencies
- Develop sales proposals and make sales calls and presentations
- Maintain strong working relationships with advertisers and agencies
Skills and Specifications
- Media sales experience in a broadcast and/or online media business
- Experience in negotiating advertising relationships with national accounts
- Experience in developing and selling multi-media advertising campaigns
- Must be a self-starter who can prioritize and be productive with minimal oversight and is comfortable developing your own leads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
Education and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales experience
- A track record of developing a client base of national advertisers
- An ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Experience in broadcast and digital advertising sales is a plus
Compensation Package
This sales position provides for limitless compensation opportunities. You will receive a base salary and significant commission potential. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: major medical, dental, vision, Paid time off includes: sick, corporate holidays, and personal vacation. This is a full-time, onsite position at our studio and corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona.
