“The French Connection” is a 1971 American crime thriller that features a New York Detective and his partner in a hot chase with a French heroin smuggler. It was the first R-rated film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, and is based on a non-fiction book. It’s definitely worth a spot on your must-watch list.
