Think of the fastest you have ever driven in your car. Hopefully, it is under 100mph, but even if it isn’t, you probably haven’t driven at 200 mph, or even near it. The Peregrine Falcon reaches this speed almost every time it goes hunting. And no, it doesn’t have a car. But how can this bird no larger than a crow, go so fast?
