Intel was born in 1968, 50 years ago, as two middle-aged engineers ushered in the era of fast, cheap electronics. As computer chips got smaller and smaller, their abilities got bigger and bigger. Intel may have missed out on chips for cellphones, but they have their sights set on whatever comes next, from self-driving cars, AI and drone tech.
