Amelia Earhart is widely known as one of the most famous aviators of the 20th century. While she did have many achievements under her belt, she wasn’t the only woman in the skies those days. So why are none of the other women as recognized as Earhart? Well, the answer to that question is a little silly, a lot surprising and includes just a splash of good old-fashioned sexism.
