Chernobyl is back in the news in a big way thanks to HBO’s fantastic miniseries surrounding the devastating nuclear incident. Now that years have passed, nature has reclaimed the cities of Pripyat and Chernobyl — bringing with it new growth of plants and animal life. But not everything is as it seems. These animals grew under the shadow of radiation, and are carrying with them some surprising adaptations of their own.
