The 2003 International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo featured the Acrobatic Troupe of Shanghai. They performed a Russian Bar routine. The Russian Bar combines balance and aerial gymnastics. It’s an amazing display of both. The word “amazing” really doesn’t capture what these people do. Had I not seen it, I would have thought it impossible. And it won SECOND place!
