In Russia, across the wintery landscape, there are shadows looming. If you’re lucky, you may see the trail of a tiger, but even glimpsing a tiger in the wild is slowly becoming a fantastical event. With the decline of tiger populations, the need for a sanctuary is greater than ever, but just partitioning off a piece of land for the big cats isn’t as easy as it sounds.
