Even with the most powerful engines and horsepower, our cars aren’t getting anywhere without good tires. They’re so important, in fact, that running over something as small as a nail can pop the tire and keep even the fanciest car grounded. With that in mind, tire manufacturer Michelin has been hard at work developing the next generation of tires. Its latest prototype is an incredible beast of a wheel that keeps itself upright with carefully arranged rubber spokes. Watch how Michelin’s test car drives with these futuristic new wheels.
