Just outside Venice, Italy, lies the quaint island of Murano. It has been known throughout the world for glass manufacturing. But this isn’t just any industrial island off the Italian coast. Due to valuable glass exports, Venetian glass-makers on Murano have been unable to leave the island, and today it’s still home to a large number of world-renowned glass studios.
