With all the technology available to children today, it can be difficult to get them to sit down quietly for an hour and read. Fewer and fewer children are reading books regularly, choosing instead to stay glued to phones or more passive forms of entertainment. Additionally, there is a significant lack of identifiable characters in many children’s books.
