If barreling down a snowy hill at a fast speed didn’t sound dangerous enough, skiers and snowboarders have another threat at one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Avalanches have claimed the lives of 16 people in the last year across the western U.S. But one resort in British Columbia is turning the tide with a new way to keep their visitors safe.
