The first amusement park in the U.S was opened in 1846 in Connecticut. It grew to have five roller coasters and dozens of other attractions. Fast forward 170 years and amusement parks have changed quite a bit. In 2010, Universal Studios opened an attraction that changed the game. It wasn’t just a ride or roller coaster — it was a fully immersive experience. How other theme parks responded was mind-blowing.
