In many hospitals across the world, there’s a glaring problem. Many facilities in many countries are in dire need of medical supplies. Back in the United States, federal regulation requires hospitals and clinics to dispose of supplies after discharging patients, regardless of whether the supplies are clean and unused. Elizabeth McLellan saw a solution. She started collecting discarded supplies and giving them to places that still need them.
