Back in the day New Year’s wasn’t actually celebrated on January 1. Our entire idea of the world and the calendar changed when Julius Caesar introduced a new way to tell time that revolved around the sun. Now, New Year’s Day is a big day, but it’s really fascinating looking back at a time when January 1 had no meaning.
