Is this the sound of space? Well, not really, but it’s one interpretation of it. Using an image captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, and with the help of System Sounds, NASA created this spooky audio clip. It’s a “sonified” visualization of the galaxy cluster RXC J0142.9+4438. The program reads the galaxies as notes, and composed this spacey song.
