Roger from Utah called in to The Kim Komando Show, concerned after receiving an email from a hacker trying to extort money. The hacker threatened to share sensitive information about Roger to his friends unless he sent the hacker $7,000. With all the data breaches out there, it’s easy for hackers to get passwords and other info on the Dark Web. Kim gives Roger valuable tips on how to combat this type of scam.
