What's the deepest hole we can possibly dig?

Remember this idea you probably heard as a kid: “If you dig straight through the earth you’ll end up in China.” While that might not be exactly true, the biggest hurdle would actually be digging deep enough to go through the planet’s core. Humans have been unable to get very far into the Earth, but the deepest we have gone will blow your mind.
