In August 1991, astronauts sent the first email from space to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Was the closing line … A.) “Hasta la vista, baby,” B.) “To infinity and beyond!” C.) “Houston, we have an email,” or D.) “Catch you on the flip side”?
The answer: A.) “Hasta la vista, baby.” Astronauts James Adamson and Shannon Lucid wrote, “Hello Earth! Greetings from the STS-43 Crew. This is the first AppleLink from space. Having a GREAT time, wish you were here,…send cryo and RCS! Hasta la vista, baby,…we’ll be back!”
