How to get started
If you’re ready to jump in, the process couldn’t be easier. Simply head over to kanopy and click Sign Up. You can create an account using your Facebook or Google login, or by using your email address.
If you signed up using your email address, you’ll need to click on the verification link that was sent to you to continue setting up. You can then click on Find Your Library, select your library from the list, and click Add library card. Enter your library card number and pin and click Save to add your membership.
Why not give it a try
So, what’s the downside? That’s the best part. There isn’t one. Kanopy is a completely free service. You won’t be asked to provide your credit card to access a free trial. There’s no hidden agenda to later convince you to upgrade to a paid version to get to the “good stuff.” They don’t ask you to provide your physical address, so you won’t receive any junk mail.
