NORAD helps you see exactly where in the world Santa is
When my son Ian was 8, he refused to go to sleep on Christmas Eve. The kid was just too excited. But of course, I still needed to wrap presents and get a little sleep, so I called in some reinforcements.
Not everyone knows the North American Aerospace Defense Command gets in on the holiday spirit. Pass this along to anyone in your family with little ones. They’ll think you’re a genius.

Way back in 1955, a kid misdialed a number for a department store that he found in the newspaper. He was looking for Santa.
The number rang to the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Operations Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The person who answered didn’t skip a beat and told the kid, “Yep, you’ve reached Santa.”
A couple of years later, NORAD — the North American Aerospace Defense Command — was formed and the tradition continued. Since 1958, NORAD has reported on Santa’s location every Dec. 24.
Want to try it?
Back in the day, you had to call and that’s still a blast for kiddos. On Dec. 24, dial 1-877-HI-NORAD and someone will answer and tell your family where Santa is located.

🎅 Such a fun tradition. I hope your family likes it as much as mine does!
