Microsoft is continuing its rollout of the Windows 10 Anniversary update, starting with the newest computers and working its way backward. The update is the last one Microsoft is going to push out this year. Before you get the update, we found three secret features you need to know. They’re not going away, they’re just that helpful!
Now you can easily take notes anywhere on the web, create PDF documents in no time, and have instant access to Microsoft’s customer support. You don’t have to download any extra software; all these features come standard with Windows 10.
To take notes on a webpage, open Microsoft Edge and click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner. From here you can highlight, draw and type notes on any webpage then save it for future reference or share it in an email or text.
In earlier versions of Windows, if you wanted to create a PDF version of a picture or document, you needed to download a separate program. Now, that feature is built right into the computer. When you go to print a file, just change your printer to "Print to PDF." You’re then free to do whatever you wish with that document.
Built-in customer support
Finally, Windows 10 can be a little buggy from time to time. If you keep running into issues with anything related to the operating system, Microsoft built customer support right into it. Just go into your Start menu and click "All apps," then "Contact Support." You’ll be able to get the answers you need directly from the source!
