3 great travel contests to win right now!

The best way to learn, grow and experience all that our magnificent world has to offer is to travel. If it didn't cost so much to explore breathtaking locations and immerse ourselves in other cultures, then none of us would ever stay home. It's great when you come across travel deals that provide major discounts.

Although discounts are great, free is better! Whether you want to surf some of the best waves in the world, see where the queen lives, or meet the most famous mouse in the world, here are some vacation contests you will love. Make sure you read the rules before you enter.

The Travel Channel's Hawaii Sweepstakes is going on now through the end of September. The network that shows you life in foreign lands is giving you a chance to see it for yourself. The winner will receive a check for $10,000 that must be spent on a trip to Hawaii. Presumably, this gives the winner the ability to create their own vacation package. You can submit entries daily until September 30 at 8:59 a.m. ET. The winner will be notified mid-October. Click here to enter!

If you win you may spot many people taking selfies since Hawaii is the selfie capital of the U.S.

Ancestry.com and British Airways have partnered up to give away a trip to London. The two remaining entry periods are from August 27 through September 11 and September 12 through September 30. A winner from each drawing period will receive two roundtrip business class tickets on a British Airways flight and a 4-night stay at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel. Click here to enter! After you fill out the online entry form, you can earn up to three more entries by following the Ancestry.com Instagram and Twitter accounts and by liking their Facebook page.

If you win the contest, check out these apps that make international travel easier.
