July 29th is your last chance to upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 for free. If you haven't had a chance to see some of the great new features that come with Windows 10, don't worry. We've assembled the three best ones right here!
The Start Menu - After its absence from Windows 8, the Start Menu makes its return. It combines the classic version from Windows 7 with the live tiles format from Windows 8. The tiles are completely customizable in terms of size, location and which ones are displayed. The size of the menu itself is also adjustable, and the left side still shows recent programs, documents and folders.
The Action Center - New to Windows 10 is the Action Center. To the bottom right of your taskbar, click the icon that looks like a speech bubble and it will open up. This is where all of your notifications live - from notices about updates to new emails. They're all aggregated conveniently for you.
Multitasking View - Another feature new to Windows 10, multitasking view will show you all the open programs on your desktop, as well as your virtual desktops. From this view you can move programs across your virtual desktops. An added feature of the multitasking is window snapping.
Of course these aren't the only features Windows 10 has to offer but they do make it easier to use and these are just the tip of the iceberg. The best way to see what you find most helpful is to explore Windows 10 for yourself, and let us know about it!
