It's the most wonderful time of the year, except for the stress of finding the perfect gift for your loved ones without going broke. Oh, and don't forget battling crowds of equally stressed-out people in the stores.
Don't worry; we've already helped you identify the hottest Christmas gifts for this year and told you what tech gifts NOT to buy. We even created a Kim's Gift Picks section of the Komando Shop. Now we're going to tell you about some apps that will help smooth out the shopping, from planning what you're getting to saving money and staying sane.
1. Plan your gift lists
If you have even a handful of people to shop for, keeping track of what everyone wants, what store has it and how long you have left is a job on its own. The app Christmas List Snowball (Android; Free) can help.
You can create a list for every person in your life. Then set a budget for each person, add gifts with estimated costs and record what you've spent so far. It helps you quickly see who still doesn't have a gift and where you've gone over budget.
If you're running an Apple gadget, there's a similar app you should check out called Santa's Bag (Apple; Free).
