Netflix’s latest twist has ‘Bandersnatch’ fans losing their minds

If you’re a Netflix fan, you know the streaming service has been killing it lately. It’s gotten some major buzz over a couple original shows that were released over the holidays.

One thing you should definitely check out that people can’t get enough of is the Netflix original movie, “Bird Box.” It’s a thriller starring Sandra Bullock that will keep you on the edge of your seat for sure.

Another massive hit is an episode of “Black Mirror” called “Bandersnatch”. Millions of people have already watched it and can’t stop raving about it. However, Netflix sent out a mysterious message about the show, and fans are freaking out about it.

Why are Netflix fans losing it over ‘Bandersnatch’?

The main reason “Bandersnatch” has become an instant classic is it gives the viewer an interactive experience. Remember those “Choose your own adventure” books that were popular decades ago? They’re known for plots that can branch off in multiple directions that result in different conclusions. “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” works in a similar way.

The film offers viewers a chance to shape how the story plays out by choosing from a number of binary options sprinkled throughout the episode. According to Netflix, “Bandersnatch” has more than a trillion storyline combinations, but you can end up with five different endings. Finding them all will take some time, but fortunately, Netflix gives you a chance to return to a critical branch point and try out a different path.

Fans thought they had tried every possible combination to get to the ending. Until the other day when Netflix sent the following tweet:

Yep, Netflix threw fans a curveball by letting them know there’s another plot twist that had yet to be discovered. And some who have already spent hours making their way through the adventure are not happy.

They’ve been posting angry, frustrated and hilarious comments on Twitter, showing their multitude of feelings over the clever ruse.

As you can see, not everyone welcomed the new plot twist with excitement. On the bright side, if you haven’t watched “Bandersnatch” yet, you now know a pro-tip that will give you an even better experience. Enjoy!
