Download hundreds of Microsoft eBooks for free while you still can

We often share articles related to eBooks, including new ways to download and read themhow to publish your own eBook and where you can them for free. That’s because eBooks are still popular these days. Although traditional paper books are making a comeback, eBooks are definitely more convenient and easier to manage.

And here’s another eBook perk that you may not know. Every July, hundreds of eBooks are being given away annually by Microsoft for free. Yep, FREE!

This free eBook giveaway is courtesy of Eric Ligman, Microsoft’s Director of Sales and they include reference guides, instructional guides, tips and tricks and other useful resources. Topics cover mostly Microsoft software products such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Exchange Server and Windows apps.

The free eBooks are available in a variety of formats like PDF, EPUB, MOBI, DOC and XPS and there are no time-restrictions whatsoever. They are honest-to-goodness complete eBooks that are yours to keep and read at your own pace.

Ligman wrote in an official Microsoft blog that the free eBook program is so popular that over a million eBooks have been downloaded in its first year and has grown over time, boasting over 3.5 million downloads three years ago.

The eBook giveaway is offered through the Microsoft’s Developer Network (MSDN) which explains why most of the material is geared toward developers and IT professionals but the range of topics is wide enough that there’s bound to be something in there that should interest you.

Here a few examples of the free eBooks that you may like:

  • An employee’s guide to healthy computing
  • Excel 2016 keyboard shortcuts and function keys
  • Keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Word 2016 for Windows
  • Windows 10 Tips and Tricks
  • Use Reset to restore your Windows 10 PC
