FAQs: 7 answers about the new Komando Community

Times they are a-changing, and so are we. We’re excited to announce that Kim’s Club is getting an upgrade and we’re calling it the Komando Community. For those of you who haven’t heard about it, we are creating the community to provide you with a place where you can socialize, connect with people like you who are interested in technology, and do it in a safe and secure place. This safer social media channel is coming soon, and you can reserve your spot now.

With the announcement of the launch of Komando Community, we have gotten a lot of questions. Here are seven of the most common questions, and if you have one that’s not answered here, let Kim know!

If I’m already a member of Kim’s Club, do I need to join the community or will it transfer over?  

If you are already a member, your information will be transferred for you once the Komando Community launches. Your login information will be the same. All you need to do is log in and set up your new social profile. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when it’s time. Thanks for supporting the Kim Komando Show.

Is the Komando Community the same thing as Kim’s Club?

It’s an upgrade and will be replacing our current Kim’s Club dashboard. It has lots of new features and is easier to use. If you are already a Kim’s Club member, you will automatically be moved over to the new community as soon as it launches. You’ll get the same features as the current club along with some exciting new ones.

How will I know when the Komando Community is ready?

As soon as it launches, we will announce it to the world! We will be sending out emails, and Kim will let Kim’s Club members know during the live streaming of The Kim Komando Show, as well as on the radio. Will my membership cost go up when Komando Community is launched?

It will not. We recently lowered the price; it’s the lowest price ever. Your rates will not go up once the Komando Community is launched. As a current Kim’s Club member, you will be moved over to the new Komando Community at the highest level of membership.

How do I know if I’m one of the first 100 to receive the mystery gift?

You’ll have to wait and see! We’ll announce who the winners are as soon as the Komando Community launches.

How do I know if I’m a Kim’s Club member?

If you have a log-in, go to the Kim’s Club dashboard, and you will be able to see your membership status. Or you can call our U.S.-based customer service team at 1-800-KOMANDO, and they can check the status for you.
