What's coming to Netflix in August? The list includes Netflix original movies and TV series, some new and some coming back for second, third or more seasons. They've also got some cinematic classics like "Gangs of New York," a bunch of "Rocky" movies, and plenty of programming for kids.

You'll also find some interesting international series and original movies from Spain, Korea, Brazil and more. We'll keep you posted on shows that are leaving Netflix, especially as more companies get into the streaming business.

Here is a list of what we know is coming to Netflix in August. Sit back, pop some popcorn and enjoy!

Most anticipated crime show

Mindhunter fans have been patiently awaiting the second season of the crime drama series that's based on FBI detectives in the 1970s who interviewed known serial killers to help them solve cases. It's not exactly a true story, but it's loosely based on techniques they used to interview sociopaths and understand the mind of the serial killer.

A different kind of talk show

"Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj" is a different kind of weekly talk show. Comedian Minhaj is an actor and former "Daily Show" writer and correspondent, who each week takes on topics such as "Why your internet sucks," the rainforest, and cricket corruption. The show records weekly on Wednesdays and releases on Sundays, so the discussions are current.

Not your parent's muppets

"The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" is a Netflix original series produced with the Jim Henson Company, so, yeah, there are puppets, but these aren't The Muppets or Sesame Street. Take a look at this trailer.
