Putting your old Amazon shipping boxes to good use is super easy

Christmas is finally here! Children everywhere will be waking up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to see what Santa has left under the tree.

Santa Claus isn’t the only one bringing presents this holiday season. Amazon has also delivered millions of gifts to people all over the U.S.

You probably have a few packages from the online retail giant yourself. It’s such a convenient way to complete your Christmas shopping list nowadays.

But what should you do with all those empty boxes once the big day is over? Amazon has come up with a super easy way to put them to good use.

How to give your Amazon boxes new life

Amazon has teamed up with Give Back Box® to make donating easier for you. Using Give Back Box® is an easy way to donate items that you no longer need to charity and bring new life to those empty Amazon boxes.

Donating is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Open your box: Unpack your merchandise from your Amazon shipping box.
  2. Pack your box: Fill the box with usable clothing, accessories and household items you no longer need and print your free shipping label from GiveBackBox.
  3. Send your box: Let UPS or the U.S. Postal Service deliver your box of donations for you.

Donations go directly to your nearest participating charitable organization using a free shipping label and empty Amazon (or other) box. Your donation helps support employment placement, job training and other community-based services to create strong families and communities.

Click here to enter the information where your donation will be coming from. This will help locate and print shipping labels for your nearest partner organization.

Partners of Give Back Box® bear the cost of the shipping. (Note: You will need a separate and unique label for each box)

I can’t think of a better way of putting all those boxes to use! It’s also a great way to finally donate that closet full of clothes that you no longer wear. Truly a win-win.
