Looking for a great Thanksgiving Day movie?

If you want to binge watch and chill out during the holidays, there’s no shortage of Christmas movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video – just try searching for “Christmas” and you’ll be gifted with quite a vast selection.

Thanksgiving movies, on the other hand, are in short supply. They do exist, though. Here are some Thanksgiving-themed movies you can stream on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video right now:

1. Home for the Holidays

Claudia Larson is heading home for yet another chaotic and exasperating family Thanksgiving. But a new visitor offers some interesting possibilities. If they can duck the flying turkeys, this romance may just have a chance.

“Home for the Holidays” is available on Amazon Prime Video.

2. Holiday Breakup

A young couple breaks up and decides to avoid the pity party of being single throughout the holiday season. Their solution? Pretend they’re still together and fool their friends and family members over Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“Holiday Breakup” is available on Netflix.

3. This is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyagers

After taking a voyage to discover the New World, the Peanuts gang settles into their new homeland with the Pilgrims, working hard to build a new life. The gang soon learns valuable lessons about disease, growing food and building homes. With the help of their new friends, the Native American Indians, they learn more about the land and celebrate their first Thanksgiving feast.

“This is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyagers” is available on Amazon Prime Video.

4. A Holiday Engagement

Jilted by her high-powered fiancé just before Thanksgiving, and terrified of disappointing her demanding mother, Hillary Burns hires an unemployed artist to pretend to be her fiancé over the holiday weekend. She soon discovers, however, that the hired replacement, David, may not be a replacement after all – but the real thing…

“A Holiday Engagement” is available on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.

5. Four Brothers

Not your typical holiday movie, “Four Brothers” is a revenge thriller directed by John Singleton and it stars Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson. It tells the story of four adopted children seeking to avenge the murder of their foster mother.

Although this movie is framed with the Thanksgiving holiday as a theme, it has violent action scenes, so be forewarned, it is not suitable for children.

“Four Brothers” is available on Netflix.
