Hopefully, you get everything you want this Christmas. If you didn’t, you might need to shop for yourself. Shopping after Christmas is an excellent money-saving trick any year. We bet there will be a ton of great sales in the days immediately after Christmas and all the way through 2023.

You can find TVs, home goods, travel, clothing and decor for steep discounts if you know where to look. Tap or click here for the five safest ways to pay, shop and send money online.

If you didn’t receive the following for the holidays, be on the lookout starting Dec. 26. We hunted down some of the best items you can save money on soon.

1. 4K TVs

Don’t worry if you missed out on Black Friday TV deals. Retailers offer arguably better deals on higher-quality sets (instead of cheap doorbuster ones) in the lead-up to the Super Bowl. Start searching around mid-January to maximize your options, and don’t forget to ensure your on-time delivery if you order online.

Statista data says about 44% of American households with TVs use 4K-capable sets. Buy one for yourself and you’ll find out why the rich graphics are worth the price tag.

When the Big Game rolls around, you tend to see related sales at Best Buy, Walmart and warehouse retailers like Costco and Sam’s Club. Amazon tends to be pretty aggressive about price matching, so compare prices before you buy.

2. Bed and bath items

The retail tradition of January “White Sales” — sales on sheets and towels — is a long one, stretching back about a century. While retailers may not use that exact terminology when advertising their deals, they throw home goods sales from early to mid-January.

Traditional department stores and online home goods retailers like Wayfair and Overstock will throw bed and bath sales during this time.

3. Exercise equipment and fitness trackers

At-home fitness equipment reliably goes on sale in early January to attract resolution-makers. Check out specific brands (NordicTrack, Bowflex), as well as Amazon.

Fitness trackers are another smart January fitness buy. We’ve seen Fitbit discounts for as much as 30% off from JCPenney, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Macy’s and others during this timeframe.

4. Winter clothing and coats

Winter is still in full effect right after Christmas, and it’s a great time to buy heavier clothing and coats. Stores start stocking spring styles as early as February, so they’ll begin to mark down cold-weather items in the new year to make way.

5. Mattresses

Mattress retailers tend to throw mattress sales whenever consumers have an extra day off work. Not only do brick-and-mortar stores get in on the action, but online retailers do. Be sure to check out Bear, Casper, Purple, Eight Sleep and similar options.

If you’re in the market for a new mattress, note that your options have grown increasingly tech-savvy, with features such as individual temperature control on each side, as well as integration with sleep-tracking apps.

Start shopping for everything festive starting on Dec. 26. This includes artificial trees, string lights, ornaments, ugly Christmas sweaters and Christmas crafting supplies. If you don’t mind holiday packaging, it’s also a great time to pick up chocolates, popcorn and makeup palettes designed for gifting.
