On Black Friday, every major retailer will unleash hundreds of tech deals, practically simultaneously. Tap or click here for a preview.
Between 4K TVs, smart home gadgets, earbuds and more, you’ll have seemingly unlimited options — but not an unlimited time to shop for them. Popular Black Friday deals sell out, after all. And there won’t be much time to compare prices and specs in the middle of this deals storm.
To help you focus your shopping efforts (and shopping dollars), we’ve selected 10 stand-out deals for Black Friday 2019. These are the top tech items to buy this year, if you want to save the most and get high-quality products.
Note: These are Black Friday prices and won’t go live until retailers’ sales begin.
1. AirPods for $129 ($30 off) at Walmart
This isn’t the version with the wireless charging case (you’ll have to charge via lightning cable). But if you’re looking to get the lowest price on this popular item, Walmart has it. Its Black Friday sale begins 10 p.m. ET online on Wednesday Nov. 27, and store doors open on Thanksgiving Day at 6 p.m.
2. Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL with $300 in Target gift cards at Target
Upgrade to one of the new Google Pixel phones and get gift cards to spend however you wish at Target. These phones (just released in October) currently start at $799.
Note: To get this deal, you need to activate your new phone at a Target store between Nov. 28 and Dec. 1 with Verizon or AT&T. If you’d prefer an unlocked phone, the Google Store is offering $200 off these phones as well.
3. Amazon Echo Dot with Clock Display for $34.99 ($25 off) at Amazon
This clever innovation of the Echo Dot has an LED display on the side, which shows the time, temperature or a timer. It solves a common problem with the original Echo Dot — the need to ask Alexa for the current time or how much time is left on a timer. And this price makes it highly giftable. Amazon already launched its Black Friday deals on Nov. 22.
4. Ring Video Doorbell 2 for $129 ($70 off) at Target
This product is a happy medium between the original Ring doorbell and the pricier Pro version. The $129 price tag is one of the lowest (and even beats the Prime Day price). It also beats the Black Friday pricing of the comparable Nest Hello doorbell by about $20.
Target’s doors open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, but RedCard holders and Target Circle members can shop Black Friday deals online starting Nov. 27.
5. Samsung 65-inch Class 7-Series Curved 4K Ultra HD Smart HDR TV for $599 ($130 off) at Sam’s Club
A curved TV enhances your viewing experience, but these types of sets are a rare find in this year’s Black Friday ads. This Sam’s Club’s deal gets you a curved 4K set in a big screen size.
Shop this deal on Thanksgiving Day online or at stores starting at 7 a.m. on Black Friday. Non-members can shop online but do have to pay an additional fee on purchases.
6. Samsung 75-inch Class – LED – NU6900 Series – 2160p – Smart – 4K UHD TV with HDR for $749.99 ($350 off) at Best Buy
There are plenty of cheaper TV doorbusters out there, but this deal gets you a huge, 75-inch screen for under $750 from a reputable brand.
Best Buy is rolling out some of its Black Friday deals now, and this is one you can shop early. Otherwise, shop in stores starting at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, or all day online at BestBuy.com.
7. Microsoft – Surface Pro 7 – 12.3″ Touch Screen – Intel Core i3 – 4GB Memory – 128GB SSD for $599 ($360 off) at Best Buy
Get this popular high-quality laptop-tablet combo for an impressively low price. If you want better specs, you’ll find a version with Intel Core i5 and 8GB of RAM for $799 ($230 off).
These deals will go live when Best Buy’s Black Friday sale does — all day online on Thanksgiving Day or 5 p.m. in stores.
8. Samsung Chromebook 3 (11.6″ display 4GB RAM 16GB storage) for $99 ($60 off) at Walmart
If you need a budget-friendly, lightweight laptop with long battery life for simple internet use, Walmart can get you that for under $100 this Black Friday.
9. Apple Watch Series 3 38 mm (GPS) starting at $129 ($70 off) at Walmart
If you’ve been waiting for an Apple Watch that won’t cost you hundreds of dollars, the time is now.
This version doesn’t include cellular, just GPS, which means you can’t take calls or text unless your phone is nearby; however, this is the lowest price announced so far for the Series 3 for Black Friday 2019, and it contains all the fitness-tracking bells and whistles that make the Apple Watch such a sought-after product.
10. Google Home smart speaker for $49 ($50 off) at Target
This isn’t the newest smart speaker on the market, but it gets you the lowest price ever offered on Google’s premier smart speaker, Google Home — under $50.
If you prefer a video screen, the Google Nest Hub is also $50 off (sticker price: $79) at Target on Black Friday. Tap or click here for more smart speaker deals.
