China’s new patrol robot looks like RoboCop with a PR team. It shows up flanked by a local SWAT-adjacent team, walking like it graduated top of its class at Police Academy. 

EngineAI’s T800 stands 5-foot-8, weighs 165 pounds, has 360° lidar and enough torque to throw spinning kicks. Battery life is about four hours, which feels relatable.
