Many of us have dozens of playlists and songs that we listen to regularly, and it can be hard to keep up with all of them. What if you want to find out which songs you listened to the most all year?
Both Spotify and Apple Music thankfully have a feature that allows you to head into the app and find what’s been keeping you moving and grooving all year long. Here’s how to see your most played songs of the past year.
Spotify 2021 Wrapped
Spotify recently announced a new feature to show your unique listening interests for the previous year. It’s called the 2021 Wrapped experience.
The tool also includes ways to blend your 2021 playlist with friends and share it for a unique listening experience. The feature comes with several other highlights, but here we’ll focus on your most-listened-to audio bytes from 2021.
If you don’t have the Spotify app, you can get it here for iOS devices. Or here for Android.
Finding your top songs and artists
To find your most listened to artists, songs and playlists, you’ll need to head to the 2021 Wrapped Hub. To see it, either head there directly via this link or open your app and follow the steps below:

- Tap on the title.
- This will bring you to your personal 2021 Wrapped section of the app.

That’s it. You can now see which tunes sparked your interest the most over the past year and even share them with family and friends.
Apple Music Replay
If you prefer Apple Music over Spotify, don’t panic, Apple has its version of how to see your most-loved songs of the year. The Apple Music Replay feature has been around for quite a while. Each year Apple compiles data from your listening habits and places them in one playlist called Replay.
The best part? It’s already in your app, waiting for you to listen to it. Need the Apple Music app? It’s available for both Apple and Android devices. Get it here for iOS. Or here for Android. Yes, even Android fans can use Apple Music.
Here’s how to check out Apple Music Replay:
- Open the Apple Music app on your phone.
