Job applications are becoming a bot-on-bot cage match, with a paycheck dangled over the ring. Applicants use AI to carpet-bomb recruiters with résumés, and recruiters use AI to dig through the rubble. Robots all the way down.

In a TikTok clip, a guy answered an AI interviewer entirely in Sims-style gibberish. The digital recruiter went from smiling politely to scowling to losing it, called the performance a waste of time and ended the screening.

We automated rejection and somehow made it more judgmental.
