What do you see first in this optical illusion? Here’s what it says about your personality
Optical illusions are a fun way to see if you truly know yourself. From revealing your inner desires to what you fear most, mashed-up images with bright colors can tell you a few things you might not know.
Do you want to know if you are a confident person or prefer to be left alone? Then take a look at this image. The first object that jumps out at you is your preferred personality type.
Read on for another image that can shed more light on what type of personality you genuinely have.
Here’s the backstory
Popular YouTube channel Bright Side shared a video recently that claims an optical illusion can reveal aspects of your personality. Are you shy and introverted or approachable and fun-loving?
There are many such optical illusions, but this one is trickier as it only features a few lines and two colors.
To get the answer to your personality type, look at the image below and note the first thing that you see.
If you saw a long-haired woman
At first glance, if you saw a woman with long dark hair sitting, it reveals that you have a keen eye for detail and excellent observational skills. Bright Side explains that it can also indicate that “you’re a reserved and introverted person.”
It turns out that others see you in the same way. The video elaborates that you get tired fast when surrounded by too many people, who often perceive you as shy and quiet.
Dispensing with a bit of life advice, Bright Side finishes with, “you do make it kinda hard for others to get to know you, but you genuinely enjoy your solitude and don’t feel lonely or rejected whatsoever.”
If you saw a wide-jawed face
On the other hand, if you see a large face with a wide jawline, you aren’t one to be bogged down by minor details. You go for the big picture and are probably a party-loving extrovert. As Bright Side explains, social activities like chatting and hanging out with friends give you energy and love meeting new people.
You might not be the best at problem-solving. But you prefer to do so through discussions rather than ignoring them or becoming defensive. Do you think you are approachable? If you saw the wide-jawed man first, it indicates as much. It also means that you are easy-going and open.
